A Word from Our Founder
LandSkyAI Family,
June was a month of acceleration. As our client footprint continues to expand, so does our RemoteOps team, and this month, our focus was making sure that growth translates into consistency, not just headcount. We spent significant time aligning training and process across the team, with one goal in mind: every operator, on every shift, has the data and protocols to make the safe, efficient call every time.
Our platform updates followed the same thread. Whether someone joined RemoteOps last week or has been with us since day one, they need to be able to find the right information fast, so we rebuilt parts of our platform around exactly that. We’re shipping updates to our ops platform weekly now, with new automations and AI-driven tools increasingly built into how our team makes decisions in the field.
We also deployed into new locations this past month and continue to build partnerships across the industry that make our program stronger. And, there’s more coming, a new version of the LandSky Node is right around the corner.
None of this happens without our team, and it doesn’t happen without the trust our clients and partners place in us every day. Thank you for being part of it.
Best,
Jake Shild
Founder, LandSkyAI

LandSkyAI Reaches 70,000 Fully Remote Missions
LandSkyAI has officially surpassed 70,000 fully remote Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone missions across the United States and international deployments.
This milestone reflects years of operational experience delivering autonomous drone security programs that organizations rely on every day. From critical infrastructure and commercial campuses to logistics facilities and industrial sites, our remotely operated drone systems continue to provide real-time situational awareness, rapid response, and consistent perimeter coverage.
As adoption of autonomous security grows, every mission strengthens our operational expertise and reinforces our commitment to making advanced robotics simple, reliable, and scalable for organizations around the world.
70,000 missions down. We're just getting started.

We Have Increased Our Total Operators, Again!
As our network of active deployments continues to grow, so does our Remote Operations Center.
To support this expansion, LandSkyAI has increased the number of dedicated 24/7 operators monitoring and managing autonomous drone operations around the clock. This growth enables us to oversee more clients across more locations while maintaining the rapid response, operational consistency, and high level of service our customers expect.
Every new deployment strengthens our nationwide operational network, allowing us to scale autonomous security without compromising reliability or performance.

Drone Ecosystem Update: June 2026
June 2026 officially transitioned the commercial drone sector into a highly regulated, data-automated enterprise market. Three rapid updates your business needs to track:
Strict Airspace Lockdowns: The FAA advanced plans allowing critical infrastructure (energy, transport) to establish legal No-Fly Zones up to 400 feet over their facilities. Simultaneously, authorities used new SAFER SKIES Act powers to seize over 300 unauthorized drones during the FIFA World Cup kickoff, signaling zero tolerance for airspace violations.
The Looming Fleet Cutoff: On June 26, the FCC banned legacy imports from blacklisted foreign tech firms. While not targeting drones yet, legal experts warn this sets the exact blueprint to eliminate the "grandfathering" of older Chinese drone fleets (e.g., DJI). Proactive companies are already shifting budgets to NDAA-compliant, Western hardware.
Software Rules the ROI: The 2026 Global Drone Market Map confirmed the industry has shifted away from basic hardware toward Ecosystem Services (AI software, automated docks, advanced sensors). The drone itself is now a commodity; the true value lies in using AI pipelines to analyze data without human sorting.
